Radiologist Profile:
Denise K. Wise, M.D. Denise Wise, M.D. is a Board Certified Radiologist with fellowship training in Breast Imaging. She is the Medical Director of the Good Samaritan BreastCare Center.
Dr. Wise joined Radiology Associates Medical Group in 2001. She completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the Susan G. Komen Breast Center and Sammon’s Cancer Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where she underwent extensive training in breast cancer diagnosis. She is experienced in stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsy procedures.
She completed diagnostic radiology residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. During her training, she spent time at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Texas Children’s Hospital in Galveston, and did volunteer work at a university hospital in Cali, Colombia. Her medical school training was at Texas A&M Health Science Center. She is an undergraduate alumnist of Mount Mary College in Yankton, South Dakota where she received a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.
Dr. Wise has been a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Radiology, California Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, and the Radiologic Society of North America. She has lectured to women’s groups, church groups, and breast cancer survivor groups regarding breast cancer awareness, breast MRI, and the importance of screening mammography. Dr. Wise is available for personal consultation for review breast imaging studies by appointment.
Dr. Wise was instrumental in establishing availability of Breast MRI to the community at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Happy to return to her home state of California, Dr. Wise enjoys hiking, biking, photography, designing jewelry, and spending time with her family.
